Full VPN Setup For Android: PPTP Protocol
This article explains how to set up PPTP VPN protocol connection on Android Devices.
Before we begin, you need to Activate your VPN account from your Getflix > Manage > VPN panel. In order to do this, log into your https://www.getflix.com.au/manage/vpn.
Setting up your Android Device for VPN PPTP Protocol:
- Open Settings and click on Wireless Controls
- Click on VPN Settings
- Click on Add VPN
- Click on Add PPTP VPN
- In the VPN Name field, enter Getflix VPN
- In the Set VPN Server field, enter us-ny2.serverlocation.co or any other server address you want to get connected.
(You can find all Getflix VPN Server addresses here : https://support.getflix.com/article/716-full-vpn-server-locations-and-addresses) - Make sure PPTP Encryption is enabled.
- Click Save
- Open Settings and click on Wireless Controls
- Click on Getflix VPN
- In the Username: field, enter your activated FullVPN username in your Getflix Management > VPN > FullVPN .
- In the Password: field, enter your FullVPN account password defined.
- Some users may select Remember username
- Click Connect
Troubleshooting
There are several reasons that the VPN connection will fail. Here are some things to check.
- PPTP protocol might be blocked in your Internet Service Provider connection. Set up the L2TP VPN connection. L2TP uses a different protocol and encryption layer.
